Smelser, Sarah

Sarah is an American artist and printmaker. She is a Professor of Art at Illinois State University and a co-founder of Manneken Press with Master Printer Jonathan Higgins, in Bloomington, IL. From 2006 to 2008 Smelser acted as President of the Mid America Print Council, a national non-profit organization of artist printmakers and educators. Her works are in the collections of the New York Public Library, New York, NY, United States Library of Congress, Washington DC, Weisman Art Museum, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN, and The Jane Vorhees Zimmerli Art Museum, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ, among others. Sarah was an intern at the K.Caraccio Printing Studio.
