Frank, Helen
Born 1930. Frank is a printmaker and painter. She is known for her etchings and other works such as the Night at the Met, Cherry Blossoms, and The Great Hall, Helen Frank's art captures the essence of New York‘s artistic and cultural life, and she has also gained recognition for her works depicting the merriment and carnival-like atmosphere of the New Jersey shore and boardwalks, before hurricane Sandy. Her works is in collections such as the Library of Congress, New York Public Library, New-York Historical Society, Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, American Museum of Immigration, and the UNICEF, among others. Kathy has been collaborating with Helen as master printer over the past 20 years.
