Carol Bruns
Born 1943. Carol Bruns is a Brooklyn-based artist whose work includes drawing, sculpture, and photography. She works with mediums in which she finds archetypal characters who assert mythic presence, aesthetic values, and often point to political conditions. Bruns has studied art at New York University, the Art Students League, New York, and La Grande Chaumière in Paris. Kathy collaborated with Carol on a series of steel aquatints, in the 1970s.
