William Behnken
(b. 1943, American)
Born in 1943, William Behnken is an established artist whose prints have won awards such as the Gold Medal of Honor from Audubon Artists, the Ralph Fabri Award in Graphics from the National Academy, and the Lifetime Achievement Awards from the Society of American Artists and the Art Alumni Association of The City College of New York. He is a National Academician, his work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and can be found in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum, the British Museum, and the Fitzwilliam Museum, among others.
